Bachelor’s Degree in Animation

Animation is one of my hobbies and I love doing small animations in my free time. But with serious animated movies coming into scene, I am feeling like I should do some sort of degree in animation. I even have requested a prospectus for courses in Animation and Video Production from Collins College, a very reputed college which provide professional degree on animation and other graphics design courses. I read about this institute and I think they offer very good, career oriented courses in these subjects. I know a guy who did Visual Arts with a major in Game Art from Collins College and according to him, the institute provides a really good training program form beginners.

Anyway, I think animation industry is going towards a big boom. Many blockbuster animated movies, like Spiderman, Shrek, etc. have been released in the past few years and there are many more to come. So, an animation course today can prepare you for a professional animation expert tomorrow. Animation experts earn big time income these days and many big studios are looking for skilled people to be absorbed into their huge projects. If you are good in visual arts, maybe you can also go for the game development industry. It’s also becoming one of the most lucrative career options these days and I am sure that sounds really cool if you love the idea of developing games in big studios. Try thinking on this one.
