What you need for a good PR

Well, I have been thinking about writing about this and so I thought I should write it today. Well, what do you need to get a good PR? The first answer should be backlinks. Yes, backlinks are the most important factor for your website’s PageRank. The more backlinks you get, the better chances for you to get higher PR.
So, is only the number of backlinks the most important factor? No, there are many more factors that are accounted while assigning PR to your website. These are the PR of the site linking to your site, the number of links going out from the site you are linked from, the main theme of that website, the IP of that website, etc.
It is a good practice to get links from a high PR page than getting 10s of links from a PR0 site. And also it is better to get your links from similar themed sites. So, it is a good practice to get links through blog post because when you get a link from a blog post, the whole page is of the same theme to your website. So, get a lot of links from good PR, similar themed sites having different IPs and wait for the next PR update. You will sure get a good PR.
